There was just so much great conversation on a number of topics I just had to leave those in and leave some of our common pleasantries out. In this Episode of FanboyHell with Otakon and other fun and personal stuff going on, I decided to do something a little different. This is my interview with the well spoken and dressed Jared Axelrod of The Voice of Free Planet X and Aliens You Will Meet podcast. I interviewed him a couple of weeks ago in his home. He was nice enough to cook a great dinner for me and MAinPA and sit down and give me some of his thoughts on everything Batman. I apologize if this isn't our normal quality but this is pretty much me and him sitting on the floor in his foyer talking Batman. We discuss everything The Dark Knight and some Watchmen and the state of comic book movies and honestly there isn't another person I thought was better for the task. Jared is a huge Batman fan, writer, artist, podcaster, side show performer, puppeteer and one of the most prolific(and good) cosplayers I know. The picture on the cover art, yeah thats him. I just want to warn you there are alot of spoilers and honestly I think everyone should have seen this by now. Techinically MAinPA is also in the show as well you can hear her and J.R. Blackwell talking in the background the entire time. Hee.

FanboyHell Video Episode 01: A Moment with Panda

This is a very special video only episode of FanboyHell. Thursday night, I had the pleasure of going over Jared Axelrod's and J.R. Blackwell's house to record an interview on the greatness that is Batman The Dark Knight with Jared. After we wrapped that hour and a half interview/conversation(Which as you read this I am still probably editing) I mentioned that I would also like to interview Panda as well since I am a huge fan of The Voice of Free Planet X. Jared said he would go upstairs and see if Panda wasn't napping. So Jared goes upstairs and comes back down with Panda and he is totally up for it. This was meant only to be a audio interview in the beginning but MAinPA decided to record it on our Flip video and upon watching the footage we felt a moral obligation to share this with other Panda fans on the interwebs. In this battle of the minds we get an exclusive announcement with the bear himself about upcoming Panda projects. His thoughts on Kung-Fu Panda and Panda's theory of the internets. Fanboyhell Episode 14 BBC's Jekyll and Jefferson is BACK!

Another 2 weeks have passed and another episode of Fanboyhell is due. Sorry it took so long for the show notes these last couple of weeks have been pretty busy with the holiday and trying to get other behind the scenes show stuff done. Jefferson is back and we get to try out the new set up with Jefferson's new mic which was graciously donated by OtakuGeneration.net . Thanks Alan! This week we talk about Dr. Who(of Course), Boondock Saints(AGAIN), and the ever downward spiral of the anime industry. We also do a review of the short BBC series Jekyll and Dan is baffled by the revelation that Russell T. Davies is gay.

After 12 episodes I finally got off my butt and made a promo. One of the main reasons I decided to do so is because I have started to experiment with playing promos at the end of the show to promote shows I am interested in and want to support. This will become a bigger part of the show because I really feel like I want to support others who are doing an awesome job and who you wouldn't normally hear if you only listened to OG and other anime shows. This show has always been more geek than otaku and will continue to do so. Jefferson isn't on this because he wasn't around and I will probably do more as time goes on so expect a Jefferson promo in the future. One advantage to the new recording setup is you have been getting more content than usual. But I record when I can and with whomever is around. After a very long Hiatus we are back and plus one no less, and its a girl. It took me a bit to get this up because not only are we using new equipment (we are recording at Me and MA's place-THE LAIR instead of the OG basement) but some of the cast has to figure out how to use these things we call microphones so there was a bit of cleaning up to do after the fact. Next time we will have a new mic so things should sound a bit better. So I am dubbing this a "Beta Episode" of the new Fanboy Hell.

So, I suppose some of you have forgotten this little old podcast that could. Well, to be honest, so have I for a slight moment.

Anyway, I guess our listeners shouldn't fret over our lack of output too much as there is Otaku Generation to get your Dan/Jefferson fix. At this time, we are aware of this specifically long hiatus and we are working on restarting and recording new episodes eventually. As always, though, these things do take time.

If it's not one thing, it's another. Still, as long as I'm paying the monthly $20 to keep this libsyn account going, the old episodes are available for review and download. I'll keep on making attempts for regular updates and tweaks for the eventual relaunch of Fanboyhell: The Podcast. Just sit tight, relax and grab a cup of coffee for now. We will return better than ever...more or less, I hope. :-)
